Six Senses Thimphu is a stylish mountain retreat located on a beautiful hillside offering sweeping valley views as well as views of the giant Buddha. Its subtly luxurious décor is modern but the design distinctly reflects the values of Bhutanese culture. Unique cultural handcrafted objects, intricate weavings combined with modern interiors in warm neutrals, wood panelling and the use of natural stone are what sets this striking hotel apart. It offers 20 beautifully designed suites, 3 one-bedroom villas, 1 two-bedroom villa and 1 three-bedroom villa. It also features a stylish bar & lounge, 25m heated indoor pool, the Six sense signature Spa, a gym, a boutique and banquet facilities. In addition, it has a prayer pavilion, business center, an impressive sunken outdoor performance deck and the lovely ‘Namkha’ restaurant which serves delicious food prepared with organic ingredients by an expert chef.

Six Senses Thimphu offers 25 spacious villas and suites, from 721 square feet for the Lodge Suites and up to 3,358 square feet for the Three-Bedroom Villa. The amenities offered in all rooms are a writing desk, unlimited Wi-Fi, Bluetooth speaker, Traditional wood-burning bukhari stove and many more.

  • Lodge Suite

    Generous space, expansive windows and large balconies provide awe-inspiring valley and mountain views with blue pine forests and apple orchards. Spacious accommodations designed in soft tones and simple lines feature bukharis (traditional wood-burning stoves). Bathrooms have a privacy screen and a bathtub that is next to a large timber-framed window, offering serene valley views.

    The beautiful One-Bedroom Villa is designed for total relaxation and privacy. Soak up mesmerizing Thimphu Valley embraced by blue pine forests and apple orchards. Generous accommodations offer a living room with natural light. The design is inspired by Bhutanese form and is ideal for entertaining.
