Rooms

Warm hospitality and contemporary comfort combine with views over Ullswater and the fells. The rooms in the original building feature antique furniture (four-poster beds, leather armchairs) and feel very grand; many also have stunning lake views, some have balconies. The newer rooms are more contemporary and feature a teal, mustard and burgundy colour scheme. There are excellent family suites with bunk rooms for kids and many rooms are dog-friendly. All rooms have own-brand toiletries, along with bathrobes, tea- and coffee-making kit, Ruark speakers, a fridge and a TV.
