COMO Shambhala Estate is located in the serene, lush area of Ubud, Bali, the cultural and spiritual heart of the island. 

Rooms

COMO Shambhala Estate is made up of private residences, villas and suites set into the forest and jungle clearings. Local stone, wood and traditional alang-alang roofing all feature, inspired by the elements of wind, earth, fire, water and forest.

  • Garden room

    The intimate Garden Rooms feature king-sized or queen-sized beds and access to their Residences shared pool, lounge and dining areas.

  • Terrace Suite

    Like the Garden Rooms, each Terrace Suite occupies one of the four- and five-suite Residences and affords access to the Residence’s shared pool, lounge and dining areas. The Terrace Suites also have their own private outdoor area — either a terrace or garden.

  • Como Shambala Suites

    These are the principal suites in the Residences. Each boasts an interior which has been individually decorated with Indonesian antiques, and a generous en-suite with private Jacuzzi. COMO Shambhala Suites also have access to the Residence’s shared pool, lounge and dining areas.

  • Como Suite

    The COMO Suite comprises the master suite at Umabona, the Residence whose name means ‘House of the Earth Son.’ The suite is decorated in grand style by the interior designer, Koichiro Ikebuchi. Details consist of two king-sized master suites, a Jacuzzi and the suite’s own private infinity pool as well as small indoor plunge pool. Its living room provides ample space for casual entertaining, while the dining room makes the perfect place for romantic dinners for two or intimate family meals.

  • One Bedroom Pool Villa

    The cool, contemporary one-bedroom Bali Retreat Villas each have a private pool and lounge area, while being conveniently located adjacent to Ojas, one of the Estate's principal wellness areas. The ample living room allows for lounging about indoors. Outside, the deck affords forest views while the 11m (36ft) pool features Jacuzzi jets to relax tired muscles.

  • Two Bedrooms Retreat Pool Villa

    The two-bedroom Retreat Pool Villas are located near the tennis courts; each boasts a private swimming pool and large living and dining areas. Their own outdoor terraces overlook the forest canopy. One bedroom is located on the first floor and the second on the ground floor, with its own entrance.

  • Private Villa Two Bedrooms

    These delightfully secluded villas boast spectacular views. Spread over two or three stories each enjoys the luxury of two bedrooms and two bathrooms, lounge and dining areas and a kitchen. The outdoor area includes a private infinity pool, Jacuzzi, balcony and large decking areas. The plot area of the Villas each span approximately 330m2

  • Private Villa Three Bedrooms

    These delightful villas boast unparallel views over the valley. Spread over two stories each enjoys the luxury of a Master Bedroom and two Guests bedrooms. The Villas boast lounge and dining areas as well as a kitchen. The outdoor area includes a private infinity pool, Jacuzzi, balcony and large decking area. The plot area of the Villas each span approximately 600m2.
