Part 19th-century landmark, part 21st-century architectural showcase, the visionary owner of the Conservatorium Hotel authored the meticulous transformation of one of Amsterdam's most iconic buildings. This magnificent Neo-Gothic building was originally built at the end of the 19th Century and in its new incarnation, it has been transformed into a contemporary luxury five-star hotel at the end of 2011. The hotel combines luxury, lifestyle, and heritage. It houses a top-tier restaurant and a hip holistic spa. Austerely seductive suites make for indulgent romantic breaks, and its location is perfect for city strolling.

Location

Located in the heart of Amsterdam’s museum district (Museumplein), the Conservatorium Hotel is a stone’s throw away from the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. The luxury shopping avenues of P.C Hooftstraat and Van Baerlestraat  are right at the hotel’s doorstep as well as the charming Vondelpark.

Rooms

The hotel has 129 rooms, including 42 suites. All the rooms offer complimentary wi-fi and state of the art in-room entertainment.

  • Superior Guest Room

    These rooms are approximately 25 to 30 m2 in size and are perfect for single guests. The room offers comfortable working space with free Wi-Fi and state-of-the-art in-room entertainment, a large rainfall shower, luxurious designer amenities, bathroom LCD mirror TV and micro cotton towels.

  • Superior Duplex

    Furnished in calming neutrals, these duplex rooms gaze out over central Amsterdam. On the lower floor, bathrooms feature roomy rainfall showers and L’Occitane products. Other amenities include a working area with free WiFi, flatscreen TVs, iPod docking stations, minibar and complimentary fruit and water on arrival. Size: 30-35 m2

  • Deluxe Guest Room

    The Deluxe guest rooms offer sweeping views over central Amsterdam (those on the higher floors of the hotel have windows that open). The bathrooms feature roomy rainfall showers (some also have deep soaking tubs). The Deluxe Guest Rooms vary in size from 30 to 40 m2.

  • Deluxe Duplex

    Guest rooms: The Deluxe Duplex is furnished in classic neutral colours. The rooms gaze out over central Amsterdam or the hotel atrium. On the lower floor is a separate seating area and there are two bathrooms featuring roomy rainfall showers (some have deep soaking tubs). Size: 40-45 m2

  • Corner Suite

    The Corner Suites have great views of Amsterdam overlooking the Stedelijk Museum and the Van Baerlestraat. The room offers comfortable working space with free Wi-Fi and state-of-the-art in room entertainment. The bathroom features a deep soaking bath, large rainfall shower, luxurious designer amenities, and bathroom LCD mirror TV and micro cotton towels. Size: 41-48 m2

  • Junior Suite

    Dominated by soothing neutrals, roomy Junior Suites look out over the Stedelijk museum or hotel courtyard. Bathrooms are indulgently spacious and feature roomy rainfall showers and deep soaking tubs. Size: 52 m2

  • Grand Duplex Suite

    Grand Duplex Suites have great views of Amsterdam overlooking the Courtyard, the Lounge or the Paulus Potterstraat.  Dominated by soothing neutrals,  feature deep-soaking tubs, LCD bathroom mirror TVs and L’Occitane products while a second upstairs bathroom (good for families) offers a roomy rainfall shower.  Size: 55 to 64 m2

  • Rooftop Suite

    The generous Rooftop Suites have great views of Amsterdam overlooking the Stedelijk Museum and the Van Baerlestraat. The 64 m2 size suite has interesting historical features and is set over several levels giving a real feeling of space.

  • Conservatorium Suite

    Decked out in calming neutrals, Conservatorium Suites gaze out over the city. These large suites offer separate working and lounging areas and provide a generous amount of space. The Conservatorium One Bedroom Suites vary in size from 56 to 74 m2. The room offers comfortable working space and separate seating area, with free Wi-Fi and state-of-the-art in room entertainment.

  • Conservatorium Balcony Suite

    These ultra-comfy, spacious suites with balconies offer great courtyard views, as well as separate working and lounging areas. All bathrooms feature a deep soaking bathtub or separate rainfall shower, luxurious designer amenities, bathroom LCD mirror TV, L’Occitane products and micro cotton towels. Size: 72 m2

  • Van Baerle Suite

    Van Baerle Suites gaze out over the city from the hotel’s corner. With 4.5m high ceilings, this suite offer separate working and lounging areas and afford a real feeling of space. Roomy bathrooms feature rainfall showers and solid stone oval baths big enough for two, plus LDC bathroom mirror TVs and L’Occitane products. Other amenities include free WiFi, flatscreen TVs, iPod docking stations, minibar, air-conditioning and complimentary fruit and water on arrival. Size: 64 m²

  • Royal Duplex Suite

    The Royal Duplex Suites occupies 72 m2 on two levels with sweeping city views. These ultra-comfy suites have separate working and lounging areas and are set over two levels, allowing you to really spread out – there is even room for a dining table. The main bathroom features a deep soaking tub and shower, plus LDC bathroom mirror TVs and L’Occitane products. A second bathroom on the mezzanine has a powerful rainfall shower.

  • Residence Suite

    The Residence Suites look like a classic Amsterdam townhouse, designed for families or long-stay guests. Decorated in calming neutral, the suite offers city or courtyard views and balconies with well-equipped kitchenettes as well as separate working and lounging areas. The Residence Suites vary in size from 53 to 68 m2.

  • Concerto Suite

    Decorated in calming neutrals, the unique 90 m2 Concerto Suite has a separate kitchen and dining room. Period windows flood the space in natural light and there’s an additional working area. The bedroom on the mezzanine gives you beautiful courtyard views. The very spacious bathroom features a freestanding oval stone bath and separate rainfall shower and L’Occitane products.

  • I love Amsterdam Suite

    The I-Love-Amsterdam Suite is a beautiful 155 m2 triplex with a rooftop terrace which offers 360 degree views of the Amsterdam skyline. Tucked away on the top floor, the space is defined by the historic architecture and original wooden beams. The suite is divided in three levels with a spacious bathroom and creates an original and entertaining experience of Amsterdam. The room offers comfortable working space with free Wi-Fi and state-of-the-art in room entertainment.
