Eagles Nest is an utterly private experience. It is set on a private peninsula with beautiful ocean views amongst 75-acres of sub-tropical native bush with secluded beaches. The estate has five ultra-contemporary, individually designed villas which are furnished in an eclectic international contemporary style, each with spectacular views. All guests are welcomed with a complimentary bottle of Louis Roederer Champagne as they settle into this spectacular property. 
The villas provide the perfect balance and antidote to a hectic, modern, urban lifestyle. 
The villas feature private heated infinity edge lap pools, jacuzzis, home theatre systems and fully equipped gourmet kitchens. Talented resident chefs prepare original Pacific Rim-inspired cuisine for the guests. The feeling is of one’s own personal holiday home on the coast. The estate features an impressive wine cellar and offers the services of its resident personal trainer and spa therapists, ensuring an indulgent stay.
Location

Located in the Bay of Islands within easy walking distance of the historic town of Russell in the North Island of New Zealand, Eagles Nest is located an hour away from Bay of Islands / Kerikeri Airport. It is a 3 ½ hour drive from Auckland. 

Rooms

The Eagles Nest Estate has 5 beautiful villas. Four of these villas have a private heated infinity pool overlooking the stunning Bay of Islands. Each of these 5 luxury private villas have terraces with panoramic views. Facilities include fireplaces, air conditioning, integrated home cinema systems, gourmet kitchens, high speed wireless internet access and beautiful landscapes. They also offer in-villa dining where resident chefs prepare cuisine featuring regional delicacies in true Pacific style matched with the finest New Zealand wines.

  • First Light

    This romantic villa overlooks magnificent seascapes and is the ultimate retreat for two. The mezzanine bedroom enjoys spectacular views and has a floor to ceiling glass shower in the ensuite and skylight over the bed. The main floor has indoor and outdoor fireplaces and walls of glass with bi-folding doors that open onto an al fresco deck (ideal for watching sunsets) leading to a private Jacuzzi nestled in native bush. It has a fabulous gourmet kitchen, two bathrooms (his and hers) and an outdoor shower. This is the only villa without a private pool.

  • Eagle Spirit

    The beautifully designed Eagle Spirit villa has 3 ensuite bedrooms which can accommodate upto 6 people. The villa has an open plan living/dining room with a romantic fireplace and a designer kitchen, all opening onto a large sun-set deck overlooking the beautiful Bay of Islands. The villa also features a heated infinity-edge swimming pool, Jacuzzi and spa overlooking the sea.

  • Eyrie Villa

    This luxury 3 bedroom villa is perfect for three couples or a family, and features original artwork and contemporary design. Each bedroom is ensuite, plus there's an open-plan living/dining room with a romantic fireplace and designer kitchen, all opening onto a large sun deck overlooking the Bay of Islands. The villa also features an infinity-edge swimming pool, Jacuzzi and spa with sea views.The villa is surrounded by tropical plants and alive with native birds.

  • Sacred Space

    The Sacred Space villa has 4 rooms which can accommodate upto 8 people. Casually elegant with original artwork and antique furnishings, the villa has a beautiful and spacious two storey glass-roofed lounge and dining area which you can use to entertain or to enjoy the home movie theatre. It has a fully equipped gourmet kitchen which adjoins the dining and lounge areas and all open onto beautiful outdoor-decks and living areas including the infinity pool and spa . The entire upper floor of this villa houses the master bedroom which boasts superb views.

  • Rahimoana

    The Maori translation of Rahimoana is Sun God Over The Ocean. The décor of this Presidential Villa is subtle in pale grey and white and can accommodate 8 people in 4 ensuite bedrooms. In addition, there are 4 more bathrooms! Rahimoana enjoys 300 degree views of ocean, islands, sunsets and landscapes. The villa has original New Zealand artwork, a 25-metre heated infinity lap pool and Jacuzzi, a state-of-the-art gym and far infra-red sauna, integrated smart systems, a home cinema featuring a 100-inch screen, hi-fi systems in each bedroom, a high-tech office, native bush walks, private beach and security throughout. Guests of this villa have access to the resort's Porsche Cayenne Turbo, a personal butler, an extensive sel~ection of New Zealand wines and French Champagne. This villa is the epitome of luxurious living.
