Overview
four seasons golden triangle

Located in northern Thailand, just south of Burma and west of Laos, is the unique Four Seasons Golden Triangle tented camp. The camp has 15 luxurious tents, each with a spectacular view of the surrounding jungle and river. 


The camp offers an all-inclusive package of elephant trekking, river boat excursions, all meals and beverages and round-trip airport transfers. Trekking on elephant back in the dense bamboo jungle & spectacular mountain trails is the ultimate adventure as you learn to ride with your mahout and enjoy the fascinating view of the Rauk River. The camp itself is beautiful with fern pathways, elephant tusk styled door handles, hand crafted furniture and tropical wood lanterns. 


The cuisine served is Thai, Laotian, Burmese and Western so guests have a variety of options to choose from. Relax and unwind at the Burma Bar, an open thatched roof lounge bar overlooking the Elephant camp and other magical natural sites. The camp also has a wine tasting room and wine cellar, a luxurious Thai Style Spa offering a variety of Spa treatments and massages and master chef cooking classes for those who want to learn Thai, Burmese & Laotian food.
Location

  • The Four Seasons Golden Triangle tented camp is located in Sop Ruak , 65 kms from Chiang Rai International airport. 
  • The Golden Triangle is where the borders of Thailand, Laos and Burma meet. 
  • The camp can also be accessed from Chiang Mai city, a 4 hour drive away. 

Rooms

The Four Seasons Golden Triangle has 15 luxurious tents – 5 deluxe and 10 superior. Each tent is located along the hillside providing a majestic view of the Elephant camp, the Ruak river and Laos. Each tent is named after the local flora and fauna. They are uniquely designed offering the ultimate in luxury and privacy. Each tent has a living area with leather and wooden couches and with an open plan bathroom with a hot tub designed for two. The bedroom has king size beds, an outdoor deck, an outdoor rain shower, thick bathrobes, down pillows and traditional artifacts. Housekeeping is done twice a day. Other Amenities include wireless connection, in tent safe, complimentary mini bar, telephone, tea/coffee maker and an emergency overnight kit. The tents have air conditioning and heating depending on the weather. There are no TV’s , DVD’s or Music to disturb the sounds of nature.

  • Golden Triangle Tent

    The spacious tent features a rustic yet elegant safari-style décor, incorporating local materials such as hardwood, bamboo, and leather for customized, handcrafted furniture. Each tent has its own distinctive design concept and offers stunning views of the Ruak River or the jungle and mountains of Myanmar. The tent includes a king bed with bedding, suitable for 3 guests, and spans across 54 sqm. The bathroom includes a full bath within the living area, an outdoor rain shower, and a custom-made private wooden tub on the outdoor deck.

  • Mekong Tent

    The tent features one king or two twin beds, with an option for an extra bed, accommodating up to 3 guests. Spanning 54 sqm .The safari-style decor showcases rustic yet elegant furnishings made from local materials such as hardwood, bamboo, and leather. The bathroom includes a full bath within the living area and an adjacent outdoor rain shower. Guests can also relax on the outdoor deck with a coffee table and chairs.

  • Bamboo Tent

    This luxuriousTent offers a choice of a king-sized bed or two twin beds, both with one mattress and bedding. It can accommodate up to 3 guests and spans 54 sqm along a hillside. The tent features a unique floor plan and rustic yet elegant safari-style décor using local materials such as hardwood, bamboo, and leather for customized, handcrafted furniture. The bathroom includes a full bath incorporated into the living area, with an adjacent outdoor rain shower. Guests can enjoy stunning views of the jungle and the mountains of Myanmar from the room.

  • Lodge

    The spacious Lodge features one king and two twin beds, as well as two mattresses with bedding, accommodating up to 6 guests. Spanning 232 square meters, this retreat offers complete privacy at the far end of the camp. Each room boasts an ensuite bathroom with a shower and bathtub, while the outdoor deck is home to a custom private pool. Take in breathtaking views of the lush bamboo jungle, and indulge in the unique features such as the handcrafted bathtub and the private deck with a pool.
