Kaner Retreat offers a unique and immersive experience in the heart of the desert, blending traditional architectural elements with modern comforts and sustainable practices. Inspired by the founder Sapna’s childhood homes in the desert, Kaner Retreat captures the essence of expansive spaces, light, and solitude. The retreat features villas built from locally sourced red sandstone, which provides natural climate control by shielding against the summer heat and capturing warmth in winter. Each of the 10 villas spans 625 sq ft and is inspired by a different local flower, with diverse color palettes, textures, and scents, reflecting the beauty of desert flora. The interiors are decorated with an eclectic mix of art, antiques, and reclaimed wood, with modern amenities such as air conditioning and inbuilt sofa-cum-beds for lounging.
The retreat also features desert botanical art created by local artists, adding a distinctive cultural and aesthetic dimension to the guest experience. Overall, Kaner Retreat offers a blend of luxury, art, and sustainability, providing an exceptional and environmentally conscious desert escape.
