Mahali Mzuri, meaning 'beautiful place' in Swahili, lives up to its name as a luxurious retreat in the heart of Kenya's Maasai Mara. Owned by Sir Richard Branson, this exclusive safari camp boasts 12 lavish tents set in the pristine Olare Motorogi Conservancy. Nestled within the broader Maasai Mara ecosystem, Mahali Mzuri offers unparalleled opportunities to witness the annual great migration and encounter the Big 5 throughout the year.

The Main Tent welcomes guests with a cozy lounge featuring an inviting open fireplace and a spacious decked area for relaxation. Just steps away, a stunning 12-meter infinity pool beckons, perfect for a leisurely swim or a refreshing dip while soaking in the breathtaking surroundings.

Location

Mahali Mzuri is located within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy to the north of Kenya's famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, about 240km most due west of Nairobi (about 6 hours). The best way to arrive is by a 2 hour plane ride from Nairobi-Wilson Airport and then a 20 minute drive from the airstrip.

Rooms

The stylish tented suites can cater up to 24 guests in the camp. Each tent is equipped with an ensuite bathroom, private deck and breath-taking views. Positioned to guarantee ultimate privacy, each tent is perched on a ridge overlooking the valley, with wildlife watching opportunities directly from your tent. Just about everything is included, The stay is inclusive of two daily game drives, all meals and drinks and unlimited access to the exclusive Olare Motorogi Conservancy.

Luxury Tent

The tent is your window onto some of the world’s more spectacular scenery. Each of the 12 luxurious tents are designed to be your home away from home throughout your stay, with an ensuite bathroom, inviting private deck and views you won’t want to miss. There are six tents on either side of the Main Tent, each accessible by a walkway, the furthest of which is approximately a 5 minute walk from the Main Tent. Ten suites can be configured with either king or twin beds and two of the suites are four poster king size beds designed to accommodate up to two additional children on sofa beds in the living room. It can cater for a maximum of 24 guests in the camp at any one time.
