Overview

The Malabar House is a beautiful art hotel with an enviable collection of contemporary art and traditional antiques from Kerala.  It seamlessly combines tradition & contemporary design. The feel is small, cosy and personal, a haven amidst in the vibrant harbour city of Kochi. It is located right opposite the St Francis Church and within walking distance of Fort Kochi’s myriad attractions. It is part of the renowned Relais & Châteaux group. Each of the 17 rooms and suites are centred around an open-air courtyard and each room has been individually decorated. The hotel offers delectable Kerala and Mediterranean cuisine in its restaurant Malabar Junction, stimulating cultural performances, rejuvenating ayurvedic treatments in their small spa and a range of exciting excursions.

The hotel is located 1.5 hours / 45kms from Cochin International Airport. It is in the heart of historical Fort Cochin

All 17 rooms & suites are superbly crafted and have stunning colour schemes. They showcase antique and contemporary objects d’art. The individually designed, air-conditioned rooms feature Indian craftwork and pleasant pastels. The rooms have a private balcony, a flat-screen cable TV, minibar and a tea/coffee maker.
