Perched 2000m above the plains, Olarro Lodge is located in the Loita Hills of Masai Mara n a 7,000 acre private conservancy. It is located in the wildebeest migration corridor in southwestern Kenya. The lodge is exclusive with just 18 guests and 7 cottages. The lodge is an artistically styled retreat which blends effortlessly into its beautiful surroundings. It runs on eco-friendly principles both in terms of design as well as use and re-use of resources. The lodge has 2 main areas – the main Olarro and the private little Olarro. The main Olarro is a cluster of 7 of the 8 cottages. It also has a dining and lounge area, a terraced swimming pool (which is a series of small inter-linked pools), a mini spa and an outdoor deck with an open fireplace to enjoy 180 degree views of the plains below. The little Olarro is a private house a little away from the main lodge and is for those seeking exclusivity and privacy. Located high on the hillside, it offers sweeping panoramic views of the Loita plains from all the bedrooms and common deck and dining area of the house. Olarro is an African experience like no other.
