Built amphitheatrically, Perivolas is positioned on the cliff above the Aegean Sea a short walking distance from the picturesque Oia. The 20 unique suites are carved into 300 years old caves which have been carefully restored and transformed into private serene accommodations. These caves were once the homes, wineries and stables of indigenous fishermen and farmers. Each room is decorated in a contemporary style overlooking the sea. The family-run property also has an in-house restaurant, a spa complete with a steam-room, gym and sauna. The highlight is the beautiful infinity pool overlooking the Aegean sea. The Perivolas Restaurant serves Mediterranean and Greek cuisine. The hotel has a fleet of speedboats to whisk guests off to secret beaches, sea caves, and nearby islands. The meditative silence of Perivolas is the best place to watch the changing light until the sun settles into the sea.
 
Location

Located at the edge of Oia, the hotel is just minutes away from the town centre. The Airport of Santorini and the Port of Santorini, Athinios are both 18 km from the hotel.

Rooms

21 individual houses set among terrace gardens that look out, amphitheatre -style, over a stone courtyard, a tranquil infinity pool, and the sea beyond. The interiors are crisp ,white and simple yet timeless and glamorous with a jazz of lilac carpet and hand woven rugs. . Rooms are bright and breezy with furniture made of natural wood and high ceiling with plenty of light. All rooms have speakers, a welcome carafe of local Vin Santo wine, minibar, a Nespresso coffee machine tea-making facilities, daily newspaper, air-conditioning and free WiFi. There are no TVs and DVDs – this is a place to switch off , relax and dream. Originally designed as a family home, Perivolas retains its intimate, private residence feel. Each house is unique, crafted by local artisans using native materials in the Cycladic style, beds nestled in snug alcoves adorned with hand-picked flowers to rejuvenate and relax.

  • Lifestyle Studio:

    Designed for comfort and relaxation the Lifestyle Studio is traditionally carved into the landscape and decorated with hand-woven cotton rugs and cushions in vivid warm colours. The Perivolas Lifestyle Studio offers an open plan sitting area with a queen size bed built into a snug alcove. The terrace stretches out to the exquisite sea view. Size: 30 sqm

  • Junior Suites:

    These snow-white, 35sq m suites (with hints of pink and blue) have their own terrace overlooking the island and caldera, and either have an open-plan design with a combined sitting room and bedroom, or a separate bedroom and living room. The ensuite bathroom has a walk-in, alfresco shower and all-natural bath products; one of the suites has a bath tub. Size: 35 sqm

  • Suites:

    Suites have the advantage of more secluded locations within the hotel’s property. The smooth curves of traditional architecture are prominently featured in their open-plan design, while remaining modern, tranquil and luxurious. Overlooking the Caldera they offers simple elegance with the charming touch of minimal furnishings, and a beautiful uninterrupted view of the Aegean.

  • Superior Suite:

    These Superior Suites are the largest regular suites, with their own terraces, and a separate bedroom and living room. All the suites have a king-size bed; one has two, and so can sleep up to four people. Most of the ensuite bathrooms have an walk-in, alfresco shower, though a few have a jacuzzi bathtub; all have all-natural bath products. The Perivolas Superior Suites offer relaxing luxury throughout, and comprise a spacious terrace overlooking the breathtaking view of the deep blue sea and the Caldera. Size: 50 sqm

  • Deluxe Suite with Jacuzzi:

    These handcrafted caves feature a built-in bed and white smooth arches prominent in traditional architecture, enhanced by the luxury of an outdoor Jacuzzi, that inspires moments of personal relaxation and well being overlooking the Aegean Sea. The arched interior is decorated with enticing colours. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed, and the ensuite bathroom has a walk-in shower.  Size: 60 sqm

  • Deluxe Suite with Pool:

    This bright and breezy cave-carved suite, once the home of a local winemaker, is characterised by whitewashed walls and smooth vaulted ceiling in the bedroom. Its spacious living area is decorated with handwoven rugs and cushions, that make for the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The terrace has its own infinity pool, with views of the Caldera a few thousand feet below. Size: 70 sqm

  • Perivolas Suite:

    The Perivolas Suite covers includes a separate en-suite bedroom with a double bed and a spacious domed lounge area with a king-size bed. The Suite has a beauty spa facility offering a steam bath and a hydrotherapy massage pool completing the harmonious atmosphere. Outside on the terrace, the heated swimming pool has expansive views of the Caldera. A masterpiece of elegant indoor-outdoor living, overlooking the Aegean Sea perfectly positioned to experience Santorini at it's best.     This suite is a romantic hideaway in a unique private location. It is decorated with the luxurious simplicity of whitewashed walls and smooth arches, enhanced by the soft touches of freshly cut flowers and vivid dashes of colour. The terrace has a panoramic view of the Aegean Sea and features a heated pool with hydrotherapy jets. Rocky formations surrounding the private pool overflow into the terrace which is overlooking a magnificent panoramic view. Size: 120 sqm .

  • Perivolas Luxury Suite:

    The Perivolas Luxury Suite features a king size bedroom with breathtaking view of the Caldera and the island of Thirassia, a comfortable living area, as well as a spa-style bathroom complete with indoor hydrotherapy massage pool and steam room. It is a barefoot luxury. Outside on the terrace, the heated swimming pool has expansive views of the Caldera. Size: 130 sqm
