Saffire Freycinet is Australia’s premier luxury lodge, providing an authentic and immersive connection to the magnificent Freycinet National Park and Wineglass Bay in Tasmania. The lodge is named after the gems which are found here, and likely the only place in Australia. The unusual stingray-inspired roof of the main building glints in the sunshine and is an architectural wonder.  The 20 luxury suites are positioned to give unrivalled views out across the azure waters of the Great Oyster Bay.  At the heart of the resort lies the Palate Restaurant, a culinary retreat which takes its guests on a gastronomic journey through Tasmania's rich and diverse flavours, curated with the freshest local produce and paired with exquisite wines. During their stay at the lodge, guests can immerse themselves in local and natural experiences like guided nature walks to discover the secrets of the peninsula's flora and fauna. Saffire Freycinet is located mid-way along Tasmania’s beautiful East Coast, just two and a half hours’ scenic drive from Hobart and two hours’ drive from Launceston.
Hobart Airport is about 103km from Saffire Freycinet.
